Botswana
A landlocked country measuring around 581,730 mi² (224,607 km²), and Earth's 48th-largest country. Botswana was once known as Bechuanaland, under the British rule - until its independence in 1966. These images are within the Mokolodi Nature Reserve, established in 1994, in the South East district of the country, southwest of Gisborne, the capital city.
