Andean Flamingos and Andean Crested Ducks - upon Laguna Santa Rosa, an endorheic lagoon situated at about 12,140 ft. (3,700 m) - here viewing southeast, about 15 mi. (22 km), across the altiplano terrain - to Volcan Copiapó (also called Cerro Azufre), rising to 19,856 ft. (6,052 m) - which is at the southern end of the Central Volcanic Zone of the Andes - just south of its widest section, of the longest exposed mountain range on Earth, that stretches about 5,500 mi. (8,850 km).
