Early morning sunlight and shadows upon the Towers of Paine - Torre Sur (l), with the shadow of Mt. Almirante Nieto along its granite base, and adjacent to the glacier - beyond Sur's shaded northern buttress, to the metamorphic caprock of Cerro Fortaleza - Torre Central, and the adjacent Cerro Norte, with the sunlight now beginning to strike its twin peaks, but its lower face still cloud shaded - between the gap to the distal Cerro Escucio peak - Cerro Nido Condor (r), with the sun's direct rays beginning to beam upon the jagged granite peak, and lower cloud-shadowed hornfels ridge, of Cerro Nido Condor - foreground beyond the cushion plants, are the shaded slopes of Cerro Paine (r) and Mt. Almirante Nieto (l), displaying its glacial ice streams.
