Natural - Chile
These images entail the natural terrain and flora (outside the parks) during 2 months of the early summer season, of 14 of the 15 regions of Chile. From Punta Nuevo on the Inutil Bay in the Magallanes region, northward to Volcan Ollague in the Antofagosta Region, and then NW to the coastal city of Iquique in the Tarapaca Region (my final day in South America, after almost 7 months).

Fallen tree trunks, limbs, and branches along the braided rock channels and glacial water of the Rio Murta, near its tributary of the Rio Huina - amongst the steep rock wall cloaked with vegetation from the Valdivian Temperate Rainforest ecoregion, which comprises a narrow coastal strip between the Pacific and the Andes, from roughly 37 to 48 degrees latitude, to the south is the Magellanic Subpolar Forests, the Patagonia Steepe eastward, and the Chilean Matorral northward - General Carrera province - Aisén region.
