Natural - Chile
These images entail the natural terrain and flora (outside the parks) during 2 months of the early summer season, of 14 of the 15 regions of Chile. From Punta Nuevo on the Inutil Bay in the Magallanes region, northward to Volcan Ollague in the Antofagosta Region, and then NW to the coastal city of Iquique in the Tarapaca Region (my final day in South America, after almost 7 months).

Estero del Bano and the vegetated valley - to the rock slopes and ridge overlooking the northern Laguna Verde - then beyond to the Sierra Avallanos, displaying its jagged ridges and peaks - with distal to the sunlit slope and ridge along the Ventisquero Valley near the Torres del Avellano - just south of 46° S latitude, near the active spreading center of the Antarctic-Nazca plate boundary, where it is being subducted beneath the South America continental margin, thus the Southern Volcanic Zone along the Cordillera Andes - General Carrera province, Aisén region.
